Tantalus Wellspring and Karalee Machum, in partnership with The Cup, invites you to a 6 week exploration. As you build and commit to a physical practice you will learn the magic of yogic philosophy and how it can enhance your everyday life. As you practice different types of meditation (pranayama) we will build a ladder vinyasa unique to you, a practice you can feel confident bringing into your daily life unimpeded by restrictions or location, even learning to practice with time limitations.
As we dive deeper into all eight limbs simultaneously finding the union of mind body and soul, this journey will give you the yogic framework to observe life’s challenges with a new yet ancient perspective. Whether you have practiced for years or are newer to yoga, this course will help you come into alignment and breakthrough both physical, mental and spiritual barriers.
About Karalee
Karalee* is passionate about sharing over twenty years of yoga practice and teaching. She works with compassion and authenticity. She has been teaching Integrative yoga, meditation, and qi gong for the past decade in Costa Rica.
Karalee has worked with non-profits and schools sharing the eight limb path of yoga. Presently, she is teaching women in recovery from addiction, trauma, anxiety, loss and depression online. After her own loss of her husband, with vulnerability she shares her end of life and grief journey as both an End of Life Doula and Grief Support Facilitator.
No matter where you are in your life and practice, Karalee will meet you there with compassion and awareness. It is not the goal to memorize ancient texts or perfect the asana but to fully understand he/she who studies it. Through the 8 limb path she feels the state of Samadhi (our highest state) or 8th limb can be witnessed in everyday events including those most difficult for us on our journey.
*Certified Yoga Teacher * Meditation Guide * Medical Qigong Facilitator * SUP yoga Teacher * Reflexologist * End of Life Doula * Grief Support Facilitator

Orange Shirt Day is a legacy of the St. Joseph Mission (SJM) Residential School (1891-1981) Commemoration Project and Reunion events that took place in Williams Lake, BC, Canada, in May 2013. The annual Orange Shirt Day on September 30th opens the door to global conversation on all aspects of Residential Schools. It is an opportunity to create meaningful discussion about the effects of Residential Schools and the legacy they have left behind. A discussion all Canadians can tune into and create bridges with each other for reconciliation. A day for survivors to be reaffirmed that they matter, and so do those that have been affected. Every Child Matters, even if they are an adult, from now on.
The National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation is a place of learning and dialogue where the truths of the residential school experience will be honoured and kept safe for future generations. This is an excellent resource to expand and deepen your learning.
