Your Introduction to Ocean Paddling, Safety & Skills on Howe Sound

The goal of our Intro to Stoke lesson is to introduce you to the sport of standup paddleboarding on the ocean. We focus on three things during this lesson, ocean safety and awareness, technical paddling skills and an opportunity to build the skill set necessary for ocean exploration and touring. Led by certified Paddle Canada instructors and coaches this 2 hour introduction is perfect for those who have never paddled before or for those who have paddled but want to tune up and improve their skills while building comfort on the ocean. The Intro to Stoke class is mandatory for those wanting to join our exploratory Coastal Stoke Tours.  Don’t worry about gear, we have all paddling and safety equipment  ready to go for you on your arrival for the Intro To Stoke Lesson.

Evidence based neuroscientific studies have shown that many physical, mental and emotional benefits of healthy, nurturing touch in human beings, including decrease in stress and anxiety levels, improved cognitive abilities and improved sleep to name a few.

Starting February 3, 2020 join Chantal Wednesday evenings from 6:45 7:30 for this 4 week series to learn the techniques of this practice.
