Our mind, body, and energy spends most of our days in go mode and staying in the sympathetic nervous system where even our choices for relaxation are still actually stimulating for our nervous system. What we need to add into our lives truly is to learn how to tap into the relaxation mode (the parasympathetic nervous system) and create balance in our minds, bodies, and energy. Learning simple movement techniques (Yoga Therapy and Somatics) along with a guided relaxation technique known as Yoga Nidra can take you into a deep relaxation and help you release the many held tensions (mental, physical, and energetic) through the many layers of self.
