Tantalus Wellspring is partnering with Norm Hann Expeditions to make Stand Up Paddleboarding more accessible to all! The goal of the Intro to Stoke lesson is to introduce you to the sport of standup paddleboarding on the ocean. We focus on three things during this lesson: ocean safety and awareness, technical paddling skills and an opportunity to build the skill set necessary for ocean exploration and touring. Led by certified Paddle Canada instructor Tina Currie, this 2 hour introduction is perfect for those who have never paddled before or for those who have paddled but want to tune up and improve their skills while building comfort on the ocean. Don’t worry about gear, all paddling and safety equipment will be ready to go for you on your arrival for the Intro To Stoke Lesson. Program Location: Squamish Paddling Club located at the Boathouse on Loggers Lane behind the park pavilion. Loggers Lane parallels Cleveland Ave and is on the ocean side. Cancellation Policy: Full refund available if cancelled one week before program. Subject to rescheduling due to adverse weather or water conditions. NOTE: There are additional subsidies available for this class if financial barriers prevent participation. Please reach out to info@tantaluswellspring.ca for more information.
